About Us

Community First is a not for profit organisation, governed by a Board of Directors and a Chief Executive Officer.

Our purpose (from our Constitution) is to:
‘Provide direct relief to persons who are suffering poverty, sickness, destitution or helplessness, especially those who are helpless in long term unemployment, those with disabilities and those in other necessitous circumstances, and to enable such persons to become self reliant.’
Our stakeholders include:

• the community
• staff and volunteers
• funding bodies and
• those services that enable Community First to conduct its business.
